The Bangkok International Youth Football Tournament 2026 is just around the corner, and Veeran Youth League teams are in full preparation mode. Set for June 2026, this tournament in the heart of Thailand's vibrant capital is a marquee event in the Asian youth football calendar.
Tournament Overview
Bangkok's international tournament draws teams from across Asia and is known for its high quality of play, excellent facilities, and true international atmosphere. VYL will be sending squads across multiple age categories.
Preparation Update
Our coaching staff has been running intensive preparatory camps to ensure our players are match-ready for the Bangkok challenge. Key focus areas include:
- Tactical shape – adapting to the 7-a-side press-heavy style common in Southeast Asian football
- Set pieces – both attacking and defensive set piece routines
- Physical conditioning – heat acclimatization for Bangkok's tropical climate
- Mental preparation – building confidence for international competition

Player Selection
Selection for the Bangkok squad is currently ongoing. Players who have excelled in the VYL Season 2 and current VYL Development League standings are being tracked closely by our selection committee.
Travel and Logistics
VYL will coordinate all travel arrangements including flights, hotel accommodation, ground transport, and match-day logistics. More details will be shared with registered participants.
